Walt Disney World - Spring Press Activation
Walt Disney World sought to elevate their yearly press events by doing something completely fresh. This event needed to align with their summer ‘Disney Thrills’ campaign and subsequent launch of the Tron Light Cycle ride at Magic Kingdom. I conceptualized the concept of merging nostalgic arcade themes, with the immersive and kinetic staples of Walt Disney World theme parks. I wanted the event space to pay homage to Disney narratives, while ignited the space in neon adornments and photo moments throughout. I created the full visual direction and narrative design of the experience, leaning strongly into immersive and transformative moments.

Custom Tron Arcade Cabinets
Inspired by the launch of the Tron Lightcycle ride at Magic Kingdom, we designed custom arcade cabinets using RFID tokens to greet guests by first name and confirming their “scanning” into the event. My team handled the entire experience, from UI/UX, to motion graphics, to cabinet design.
TRON TUNNEL
To further immerse guests, we designed and built a custom tunnel that simulated guests being scanned into the event. The tunnel was equipped with motion sensors and would activate with a variation of light sequences and sound as guests passed through. My team handled the full tunnel design, including concept modeling, lighting and sound design.
